The fall of Kabul, Afghanistan was six months ago, to the day, August 15, 2021. Since that date, despite Taliban demands, the United States has refused to release Afghan Central Bank funds : 7 billion dollars, which are still blocked in New York.

And the Biden administration has just taken a totally unprecedented decision: Washington is seizing this money in the name of the fight against terrorism, unheard of in international law.
