Alfonso Fernández Mañueco begins to stop Vox and put limits on dialogue in his negotiation to be invested president of the Junta de Castilla y León.

Following the demands raised yesterday by Santiago Abascal's party, the PP candidate has emphatically warned that equality "is not negotiable for the PP."

Likewise, he has insisted on rejecting a coalition with Vox because it is not the same situation as in 2019, when he had to share responsibilities with Ciudadanos.

In an open intervention before the Board of Directors of the PP of Castilla y León, Mañueco has asked his supporters for "tranquility and serenity" before the round of negotiations and has bluntly stated the terms in which this dialogue will take place.

"We do not have red lines, but we do have great principles", he has warned, detailing some of them below, in a clear warning to Vox and also forces such as the UPL or Soria ¡Ya!

The first he has cited is "equality", which has guaranteed that "it is not negotiable for the PP".

"If anyone thinks that the PP of Castilla y León is going to take a single step back to defend social, labor, opportunity equality or equality between men and women, they are wrong", he said to the applause of his colleagues, responding to the claim raised yesterday from Vox to repeal the regional law on gender violence.

Also with acknowledgment of receipt to Vox, he explained that European integration "is also not negotiable" and that whoever wants to break European ties is wrong "from beginning to end", which in the region means "vaccines" or Agrarian Policy Common (cap).

Mañueco has also sent notices to the provincial platforms.

In this case towards Soria ¡Ya!

and for Avila.

He has emphasized that the PP will not "give in to blackmailing support for privileges of some provinces over others."

"Territorial cohesion", he has said, "is not negotiable".

Similarly, he has warned UPL that "autonomous integrity" is not up for debate either.

"If someone thinks that in the PP of Castilla y León we are going to chop up the community, they are wrong from beginning to end", he has remarked.

Thus, he has defended the autonomous model, the state of autonomies and the unity of Spain.

"If anyone thinks that we can build a project outside of these ideas, they are wrong, because we are not going to contribute to weaken or dismember our country," the PP baron stressed.

In his speech before his party colleagues, Mañueco has also been very firm in rejecting a coalition with Vox and has argued that the next government must have the "PP program" because it is the party that has won the elections.

In this sense, he has rejected that Vox can claim what Citizens in 2019, denying that the situation can be "equated" because then the PP was second and now it has been the most voted by the Castilian and Leonese.

In addition, he has said that "it is wrong" who speaks only of numbers instead of projects.

"This is not about armchairs, it's about people and specific policies," he pointed out.

That is why Mañueco has claimed to have an "effective", "solid", "stable" and "alone" government, supported by "clear ideas" and "firm pillars", "without having borrowed suits and without the sword of Damocles above".

In addition, he has stressed that this team has to have "the necessary experience"

Although Mañueco's purpose is aimed at that goal of governing alone, the leader of the PP of Castilla y León now has to deal with the results and the agreements.

Before his own he has promised "intelligence", "temperance" and "moderation" and has asked for an extra "tranquility" and "serenity" to prevent "noise" from hindering negotiations.

His message has been that he will not "defraud" the regional PP "or the people of Castilla y León" and that he will be "personally and politically" at the "height" of the responsibility he has.
