The scene, both impressive and strange, was recorded by a CCTV camera.

The images then went around social networks, provoking many reactions, between astonishment and amazement.

Several hypotheses mentioned

In these images, we see a flock of several hundred birds flying in a deserted street.

Suddenly, the group gets dangerously close to the ground and hundreds of birds end up collapsing on the road for no apparent reason.

In a second video, we can distinguish the inert bodies of the birds that have fallen.

These are yellow-headed cowbirds from Canada, which migrated to Mexico.

Witnesses to the scene, many residents immediately alerted the police.

A zootechnical veterinarian was sent on site to collect initial information.

According to him, the birds could have succumbed to the inhalation of toxic gases.

But a sudden increase in the voltage in the power lines could also have caused a sudden death of these birds.

An autopsy should be performed to determine the precise causes of this strange death.
