• Interview "Mónica Oltra is not guilty of what her ex-husband did, but she hid my complaint"

The Court of Instruction number 15 of Valencia has reopened the investigation into the treatment that the Ministry of Equality directed by

Mónica Oltra

gave to Teresa, the minor who was abused by the ex-husband of the Valencian vice president.

The instructor has summoned to testify from next February to six senior officials in the case that will determine if they

abandoned or left the minor unprotected

after the complaint.

Among those investigated is the territorial director of Equality of Valencia, Isabel Serra, the psychologist of the Minor's Section, Inmaculada Martín, and the director of the Niño Jesús center where the abuses took place, Isabel Domingo, as well as psychologists and officials who, according to the order of reopening of the case of the

Court of Valencia

, "they were aware of the abuses in February 2017 and for several months they omitted their duty to denounce".

"Instead, they

victimized the girl

, discrediting her through 'ad hominem' arguments and personal attacks; later in June 2017, when the girl told the police that she was being abused, they tried to discredit her and carried out a kind of

paralegal investigation

of

which they did not inform the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office with the sole purpose of deactivating the complaint", detailed the Court.

All the charges and officials who participated in that investigation are among those investigated and will testify in the City of Justice until next March 3 in the evening, something unusual.

The origin of this investigation is the complaint filed by Teresa herself against the actions of the ministry after the conviction of the ex-husband of the vice president.

The court dismissed her complaint pending ratification of Luis Ramínez's sentence in the Supreme Court, but the Court ordered the reopening and now that complaint, in which Teresa is represented by the lawyer and leader of Spain 2,000, José Luis Roberto , is added the one presented by the Gobierna-Te association, headed by Cristina Seguí in Instruction No. 3, which is now unified as it deals with "closely related" events.

In the latter, the indictment of Mónica Oltra was requested, which was dismissed by the TSJ as it found

"No objective evidence that she could have given the order to carry out actions aimed at protecting Mr. Ramírez."

Oltra's imputation in this investigation, recalls the instructor, could only occur "if in the course of it objective elements appeared that could justify the possible imputation of an appraised".

In this case, it would be the TSJ who would determine whether he assumes the entire process or only the part corresponding to the vice president.

Now, the court clarifies: the fact that Oltra has acknowledged that he ordered that he be kept informed of the procedure in August 2017, after the intervention of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, cannot "be understood enough to affirm that at the same time he ordered to carry out actions with the purpose of covering up facts to the detriment of the victim".
