is a campaign bus for Ahn Cheol-soo, a candidate of the People's Party, who was campaigning in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do.

Yesterday at around 5:20 pm on the bus, a driver in his 60s and a party official in his 50s were found unconscious and taken to the hospital, but died.

Also in Wonju, Gangwon, the driver collapsed in Ahn's campaign bus and is not recovering consciousness.

Police believe the cause is carbon monoxide poisoning.

There is a self-generator installed in the campaign bus to turn on the LED signboard, but there is a possibility that carbon monoxide was generated and spread inside the car.

The People's Party also explained, "I heard that LED installers have announced safety rules that require the door to be opened and operated because carbon monoxide can be generated when the LED signage is operated."

[Choi Jin-seok/People's Party Standing Election Chairperson: It is presumed that the accident happened after turning on the LED while stopping and leaving the door open because of the cold.]

The police said they plan to request an autopsy of the body to investigate the exact cause of the accident I did.

Candidate Ahn stopped all schedules and visited the funeral home of the hospital where the dead were moved to comfort the bereaved families.

[Ahn Cheol-soo/People's Party Presidential Candidate: I can't help but feel dismayed that the people who helped me suffered such an unexpected accident.

We will do everything we can to deal with the accident.]

The Ministry of Employment and Labor also launched an investigation, saying that the number of fatalities could be a serious disaster, such as checking whether carbon monoxide was detected in the vehicle.
