China News Agency's "East-West Question, China-Europe Dialogue" recently had an exclusive dialogue with the former Deputy Speaker of the German Bundestag, Dr. Hans-Peter Friedrich.

Regarding the formulation of "institutional opponents" in the triple positioning of the EU's relations with China, Friedrich pointed out that the meaning of this formulation is unclear, and neither the EU nor China intends to change their own political systems.

He emphasized that China and Europe constitute an axis of development and stability that is of crucial significance to the world, so Germany and China need to move forward closely side by side.
