Two dead in a double road accident in Finistère

New road drama in Brittany.

This Monday morning shortly after 8 a.m., a terrible traffic accident involving two trucks and a vehicle occurred on the RN165 in the Quimper-Brest direction at the level of the commune of Pont-de-Buis-lès-Quimerc'h (Finistère), reports

According to the daily, a car with an elderly couple on board broke down on the four-lane.

As he was pushing his car to safety, the 79-year-old driver was hit by an oncoming van from behind and was killed instantly.

A truck carrying propane then crashed into the utility vehicle.

The impact was very violent and the driver of the truck, in his twenties, also died.

More than forty firefighters were mobilized on the intervention which caused major disruptions on the main road, which was cut in both directions all morning.
