According to him, the West is making Ukraine a state hostile to Russia, creating on its territory a springboard for NATO troops.
“Political and military support from abroad is provoking Kiev into a forceful scenario of establishing control over the Donbass, and later over the Crimea,” RIA Novosti quoted Gadzhimagomedov as saying during a round table in the Federation Council.
Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the West needs to unleash a conflict with the participation of Ukraine in order to fight by proxy.
