The usual calm of Fercé, a town of 500 inhabitants located near Châteaubriant, north of Loire-Atlantique, was somewhat shaken up this weekend.

A free party took place on Saturday evening on the site of an aggregate quarry owned by the Lafarge group.

Very quickly, dozens of cars and vans landed, bringing together more than 1,500 people from the west of France on Sunday morning.

The sound festival took place on a disused part of the quarry, specifies

The gendarmes supervised the place to ensure safety.

The music stopped on Sunday afternoon.

The firefighters also intervened to help young people at risk due to excessive consumption of alcohol or narcotics.
