Since December, the Hungarian company Wizz air flies to and from Kiev on Thursdays and Sundays.

According to Robert Karlsson, communications manager at Skavsta Airport, the route is popular and so far the flights are operated according to the regular schedule.

- We have contact with Wizz air to follow the development, but right now everything is going on as usual, says Robert Karlsson.

- From what I have seen this morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs keeps track of who is still flying, should there be a situation for evacuation.
