It starts as a traffic altercation, but it ends up in court for serious facts that could have turned into a tragedy.

This is the case which was judged on Friday before the court of Saint-Malo, as reported by

The facts date back to February 9 in the city center of Dinan (Côtes-d'Armor).

At the end of the day, a motorist had been surprised by a pedestrian who had crossed the road without looking.

The driver had braked in emergency and sounded the horn, which did not please the pedestrian.

The two men then exchanged blows before the pedestrian pulled out a knife, stabbing the victim in the shoulder blade, according to

The driver was issued 21 days of temporary interruption of work.

Judged in immediate appearance, his attacker, aged 26, was sentenced to two years in prison, one of which was suspended.

He will also have to treat himself and pay 3,600 euros to the victim.
