After Paris, the freedom convoy set sail for Brussels.

And on their arrival on Belgian territory, opponents of the vaccine pass were greeted by the police and their vehicles parked in a parking lot away from the city.

A disappointment for the activists, who nevertheless continue their commitment.

Several arrived by car, truck, motorhome, but it is on foot that they will demonstrate today in front of the European institutions.

Indeed, the Belgian police system was very effective.

Police cars moved ahead and behind the convoy.

The health anti-passes were checked on arriving near Brussels and escorted to a closed car park without lighting, away from the city center.

Jean-Marie, 65, traveled 1,500 kilometers to come here.

It's a disappointment.

"When we are 15,000, 20,000 cars, we can have an impact on a city. On foot, we will be a metro, we will be taken away... We will go because we are there, we came for that and I I'm disappointed I got caught."

Activists determined to be heard

A second convoy always arrives escorted.

Maud, 40, fears the rally will be completely snuffed out.

"For me, we are parked here so that it is not known and so that we do not see this mass effect", estimates the forties.

"It's not just to block, it's to show that we're fed up, what."

Eric is in a good mood: this device is his first victory.

"We mobilized extraordinary police forces. The goal has been achieved: it is to put pressure, to get people talking about us."

They will therefore demonstrate on foot in front of the European institutions.

And these anti-passes are formal: if they are not heard, they will come back.
