A 37-year-old woman appeared in court in Brest, Finistère, on Friday.

According to our colleagues from

Ouest-France

, this mother of two children was prosecuted in three repeat theft cases committed between January and February 2021.

Convicted in the past for theft and fraud, this 30-year-old working in the medical field allegedly stole more than 3,000 euros worth of Lego toys from stores in Saint-Renan and Brest.

The goal?

Resell them on the Internet.

Five-month suspended prison sentence

Thinking to be subject to kleptomania, she would have started therapy in January 2022. But the Prosecutor dismissed this hypothesis, considering that the thefts judged this Friday were interested.

The mother was given a five-month suspended prison sentence.

It will have to reimburse the defrauded stores up to 799.59 euros for material damage and 150 euros for moral damage.
