On February 13, China National Offshore Oil Corporation announced that my country's first self-operated 1,500-meter ultra-deep water gas field "Shenhai No. 1", located in Lingshui, Hainan, has produced a total of natural gas since it was officially put into operation on June 25, 2021. Over 1 billion cubic meters, providing an important source of clean energy for the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area during the supply guarantee season.
According to reports, the gas field has successfully reached a production capacity of 1 billion cubic meters, which verifies the advanced nature and reliability of the complete technical system of deepwater oil and gas exploration, development, production, operation and maintenance independently created by my country, and also marks that my country has entered the ranks of advanced countries in deep-sea oil and gas exploration and development.
It is reported that the "Shenhai No. 1" large gas field is an offshore ultra-deepwater gas field with the deepest average water depth and the most difficult exploration and development independently discovered in my country so far. ——The "Shenhai No. 1" energy station can supply 3 billion cubic meters of gas to Guangdong, Hong Kong and other places every year after being put into operation, which can meet a quarter of the people's gas demand in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
