The SNCF filed a complaint after the significant damage discovered last Monday, in the early morning, in a TGV at Tarbes station about to set off for Paris.
According to
La Nouvelle République des Pyrénées
, three 17-year-old teenagers were first arrested because they were kicking the glass doors of the station.
The inspection that followed these arrests quickly revealed other damage and the ransacking of the famous TGV: gutted seats, ransacked window breaker boxes, bottles of water from the wagon-bar scattered on the ground.
An electrical box had even been damaged in the control cabin of the train.
The teenagers deny the facts but the investigation continues the complaint of the SNCF which, beyond the material damage, also had to compensate its passengers for the delay.
