  Xie Yingbin, deputy artistic director of Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater, said in a recent interview with the media that she hoped more and more people could experience the beauty of opera in Shenzhen.

  Before coming to Shenzhen from Paris in July 2019 and serving as the deputy artistic director of Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre, Xie Yingbin had been a life-long opera performer at the Paris National Opera for 19 years. When the newly established Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theatre invited her , she still chose to go to this young and vibrant city.

  Xie Yingbin said that opera is the culmination of various arts and the bright pearl in the crown of art.

It belongs not only to the West, but also to all mankind, and Shenzhen should also have it.

  When she came to Shenzhen, she formed the Shenzhen Opera and Dance Theater Choir, and led the team to spread opera culture through public performances, lectures, etc., hoping to allow more people to approach opera and build a bridge between Chinese and Western opera culture for Shenzhen.

Therefore, she also served as the artistic director of the opera troupe and chorus, chorus conductor and vocal director.

  The first local original opera "Forerunner" in Shenzhen, which is currently being rehearsed, is a major production in Shenzhen. It depicts the real scenes of the work and life of entrepreneurs in Shenzhen since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and describes the stormy course of Shenzhen's reform and opening up for more than 40 years.   In 1980, Xie Yingbin was admitted to the vocal music department of the Central Conservatory of Music with honors. After graduation, he was admitted to the then Central Orchestra (now the China Symphony Orchestra).

In the late 1980s, she went to Switzerland for further studies, studying vocal music and majoring in choral conducting.

After receiving her doctorate from the Geneva Conservatory, she was admitted to the Lyon National Opera as a professional opera singer.

In 2002, she was admitted to the Paris National Opera and became a lifetime opera singer.

  Since arriving in Shenzhen for more than two years, the choir formed by Xie Yingbin has participated in the performance of the first original opera "Marco Polo" by the Guangzhou Grand Theater, and has cooperated with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra for many times to perform large-scale symphonic suites "My Motherland" and "Beethoven Ninth". Symphony - Ode to Joy, Ode to Heroes, etc., and held special chorus concerts of Deep Voice, Sound Shenzhen, Ode to the Yellow River, and Kindness.
