Earlier this week, Vladimir Putin invited Emmanuel Macron to talk and then a four-meter-long table came into focus.

There was speculation that Vladimir Putin was sending a signal about the frosty relationship with Europe.

But according to the Kremlin, it was a corona measure.

- In addition, several other people in power, with significantly better relations with Russia, have been sitting at exactly the same table, says SVT's foreign reporter Carl Fridh Kleberg.

- But historically, rooms and furniture have been a way to send a signal.
