The convoy of freedom continued on its way, heading for the North of France.

Opponents of the vaccine pass took to the road towards Lille this Sunday.

Most of them were present on the Champs-Elysées the day before and deplore the tension with the police.

Final destination ?

Brussels.

They had agreed to meet this morning in this car park located about fifteen kilometers from the capital.

The opportunity to share a thermos of hot coffee after another night's stopover in the freedom convoy.

Jean-Michel and François are wrapped up in their down jackets.

They left Finistère on Thursday and are trying to regain their strength.

"We followed the convoy of freedom for us and our children, that the health pass stops as soon as possible", explains the couple.

 "A Happy Movement"

Protesters who for the most part were present on the Champs-Elysées yesterday.

Many regret the scenes of tension between the police and certain members of the procession.

These two Nantes women who distribute sandwiches and water bottles repeat it: the convoy of freedom is above all peaceful.

"The symbolism of arriving on the Champs-Elysées with a liberty convoy was very strong. It was a happy movement of people dancing, smiling, in fact living."

And the journey is not over.

The next stage point will be Lille, in the afternoon.

Final destination: the convoy should finally reach Brussels overnight.
