A cat who ran away from home 7 years ago in the United States had a dramatic reunion with its owner.

The cat traveled 2,400 km, but was returned to the family thanks to a microchip implanted in its body.

On the 10th local time, foreign media such as the Associated Press reported the story of the Dennis Chili family living in Chesterville, Maine, eastern United States.

Ashes, a cat who lived with the Dennis family, suddenly left the house in 2015.

After that, the family went looking for Ashes for a long time, but they were nowhere to be seen, so they gave up thinking that Ash was eaten by another animal.

However, 7 years after Ashes ran away from home this year, unbelievable news came.

I got a call from a shelter in Florida that Ashes was being cared for.

Florida is 2,400 kilometers from Ashes' main state, where Ashes lived, and how Ashes crossed the continent was a mystery.

Fortunately, Ashes had a microchip embedded in her body, and the shelter used the microchip to identify Ashes and contact the Dennis family.

The Dennis family first asked for Ashes from their Florida-based friend William, and William started preparing for Ashes' flight back to Maine, including a medical certificate and a cat-friendly flight.

William, who has worked in the animal rescue field for a long time, said about Ash's termination, "I think I happened to get into a car I was driving and went to Florida. In the meantime, someone found and raised Ashes. I don't think so," he said.

Ashes finally returned to Maine on the 9th and was reunited with the Dennis family.

Although her daughter, Katie, who was 10 at the time she adopted Ashes, was a spunky figure, Ashes came out of the cage and cradled her comfortably in Katie's arms.

The Dennis family and Mr. William shared their impressions with emotion, saying, "This miracle happened thanks to the internal chip for pets."

This is a 'news pick'.
