The head of Ukraine announced this on his Twitter page.

“We talked about the security situation and ways to intensify the peace process within the Normandy Four, the Trilateral Contact Group.

We exchanged views on the latest international negotiations,” Zelensky wrote.

At the same time, the Ukrainian president said that he highly appreciates Macron's personal involvement in the de-escalation process around Ukraine.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a telephone conversation with French leader Emmanuel Macron, said the West was unwilling to push Kiev to implement the Minsk agreements.

On February 11, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak said that the settlement of the intra-Ukrainian conflict is at zero, at the level of 2015.

He made this statement after it became known that the negotiations of political advisers to the leaders of the Normandy Four countries in Berlin ended without significant results.
