French President Emmanuel Macron and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone talk on the 12th for about an hour.

According to the French presidential office, President Macron emphasized that raising military tensions and dialogue are incompatible with President Putin, and expressed strong Western concerns about Russia's military invasion.

On the other hand, according to the Presidential Administration of Russia, Putin pointed out that the United States and NATO have not responded to the security demands that Russia has shown, such as not expanding NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization any further.

He also argued that Western concerns about Russia's military invasion were "predictive" with provocative implications for Russia.
