“In the interests of ensuring the security of the Iraqi community in Ukraine and in connection with the emergency circumstances in this country, the Foreign Ministry calls on Iraqis who are there to leave Ukrainian territory, and citizens not to travel there for security reasons,” the Iraqi ministry said on Twitter.
Also, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry called on the employees of its embassy in Kiev "to take advantage of the annual leave in such a way as to ensure the safety of the mission personnel."
Similar messages were posted on Twitter by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, as well as the UAE Embassy in Kiev.
Earlier, the German Foreign Ministry recommended that the Germans leave Ukraine.
