Two delegations from the UAE and Qatar held official talks in Doha to consolidate relations between the two sides and follow up on the implementation of the Gulf Summit statement.

And the Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported that two official delegations from the countries of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates held Thursday in Doha, the third meeting to follow up on the Al-Ula statement issued by the Gulf summit hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in January 2021.

She added that the two sides discussed, during the meeting, joint mechanisms and procedures for implementing the Al-Ula statement.

The meeting stressed the importance of consolidating relations between the two countries and developing joint work to achieve their common interests.

The Emirates News Agency said that two official delegations representing the UAE and Qatar met Thursday in Doha, in the third meeting to follow up on the "Al-Ula Statement", where the two sides discussed joint mechanisms and procedures for implementing the "Al-Ula Statement".

She added that the two delegations stressed the importance of consolidating relations and developing joint work.

In January of last year, the leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries signed the statement of the 41st Gulf Summit, which was held in Al-Ula Governorate, Saudi Arabia, in order to turn the page on the Gulf dispute and emphasize respect for the principles of good neighborliness.

The statement called for the return of joint Gulf action to its normal course, strengthening unity and cohesion among member states, and maintaining security and stability in the region.
