  According to public information, Zhou Jiangyong was born in September 1967 in Ningbo, Zhejiang. He was a member of the Standing Committee of the Ningbo Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Development and Construction Management Committee of Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area, Deputy Secretary of the Zhoushan Municipal Party Committee, Acting Mayor and Mayor, Wenzhou Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee.

  Earlier, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and State Supervision Commission announced that Zhou Jiangyong was expelled from the party and public office for serious violations of discipline and law.

He was accused of losing his ideals and beliefs, deviating from the "two safeguards", being indifferent to political consciousness, acting in opposition to the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, colluding with capital, supporting the disorderly expansion of capital, engaging in superstitious activities, and deliberately resisting organizational censorship.
