The judge of the National Court

Manuel García Castellón

has summoned Dina Bouselham, former advisor to Pablo Iglesias, as a witness for next March, to testify about the theft and, above all, recovery of the memory card of his mobile phone .

The statement will mean reviewing the performance in the case of the former leader of Podemos.

It was Iglesias who received the stolen card from his adviser.

The investigation has pointed out that instead of returning it, he kept it for months.

And that, although he received it in good condition - he was able to access its content - when he handed it over to Bousselham it could no longer be consulted.

The judge came to propose to the Supreme Court the imputation of Iglesias for that action, but the High Court considered that option premature.

The investigating judge planted the possibility that he had committed the crimes of discovery and disclosure of secrets, computer damage and false accusation and accusation.

Now Iglesias is no longer qualified before the Supreme Court and could be charged in the Hearing.

However, the chances of that happening have vanished after the expert report from the Scientific Police concluded that it is not possible to know the circumstances of the damage suffered by the card.

That means that it is not feasible to attribute them to Iglesias either.

The experts who prepared the report have also been summoned by the judge to ratify its content.

Like Ricardo sa Ferreira, Bousselham's partner, and the former Deputy Director of Operations (DAO) of the Police Eugenio Pino.

All, experts and witnesses, must appear at the Hearing on March 9.

In Pino's case, he will be able to do so accompanied by his lawyers, since he is charged in another branch of

the Villarejo case

.

Regarding the interrogation of Dina, in the documents sent to the judge, the Prosecutor's Office indicates that it must clarify whether Iglesias asked for permission or authorization to examine the content of his memory card without restrictions.

According to a previous statement at the Court, when the card arrived at Interviú and was delivered to her, she checked its content.

In case of not having authorized that access, Bousselham must specify if he accepts it.

An affirmative answer automatically eliminates the possible crime of disclosure of secrets by Iglesias.

For the crime of computer damage, the former adviser will also have to clarify her different versions about when she found that she could not access the content of her mobile phone card that Iglesias had given her.

After a first statement that placed the former vice president as a suspect in the damage, she sent a letter in which she released him from responsibility.

The judge has closed the period of investigation of the case, for which the citations now agreed upon are the last steps to be carried out.

Subsequently, the instructor must decide who he proposes to bring to trial.
