The latest generation of Xbox

With its new Xbox Series X launched at the end of 2020, Microsoft is offering its new generation of high-performance console.

The look is revolutionary and has nothing to do with other Xboxes, or even competing models.

Microsoft has done extensive work on the design, but the console has become overweight.

With a height of 30 cm and a width of 15 cm, the Xbox Series X displays 4.3 kg on the scale.

It does not go unnoticed near the TV in the living room.

The console is designed to be installed vertically.

On the top, we discover a grid revealing the blades of the fan.

The heart of the machine is based on an AMD architecture with an AMD Ryzen Zen 2 CPU with 8 cores operating at 3.8 GHz.

The GPU is an AMD Navi RDNA 2 with a power of 12.15 Tflops.

The whole thing is completed by 16 GB of GDDR6 RAM memory and the storage goes through a 1 TB NVMe SSD disk with a transfer speed of 2.4 GB per second.

The latter is doubled with data compression.

The Xbox Series X has a Blu-Ray player and offers a definition of up to 8K.

In 4K, its framerate reaches 120 FPS.

It offers backward compatibility with older generations of Microsoft consoles: Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The new console comes with an HDMI cable and power cord.

A latest generation wireless controller is also delivered, along with its set of batteries to be ready for use.
