“I cannot say that

absolutely nothing was reported about the termination of the license, or the removal of RT from the satellite in Austria.

It was present in two lines on the back pages.

But when Russia,

in turn, takes retaliatory measures against Deutsche Welle, this, of course, is immediately a top topic, the arbitrariness of the Russians.

The fact that these are retaliatory measures naturally fades into the background.

And, unfortunately, the

reaction of Austrian official structures to such a development of the situation is also one-sided,” the ambassador said.

According to him, the same thing is happening at the OSCE site.

Meanwhile, Lyubinsky added that in Austria "RT is in demand, RT is read, RT is heard, and it is interesting."

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement of the OSCE representative Teresa Ribeiro on Moscow's retaliatory measures against Deutsche Welle (DW).

On February 2, it became known that a document received by RT DE Productions in Berlin states that this company is responsible for broadcasting.

This means that no other European authority other than MABB can license the channel.

The regulator decided to stop broadcasting on the Eutelsat satellite, Smart TV, on the RT website and application, as well as on the Odyssey platform.

The head of RT DE Productions, Dinara Toktosunova, noted that the decision of the German regulator MABB will be appealed in court.
