Permanent Representative in Vienna Ulyanov welcomed the continuation of negotiations on the restoration of the JCPOA

“We are definitely moving forward in the Vienna negotiations to restore the JCPOA,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

He also called the meeting with US Special Envoy for Iran Robert Malley useful.

Earlier, Ulyanov said that the restoration of previously canceled exemptions from sanctions on Iran's nuclear program could slow down the state's nuclear program.

Later, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed by phone the restoration of the nuclear deal.
