“The Foreign Ministry does not recommend any travel to Ukraine and encourages Norwegian citizens to leave this country,” the ministry’s website says.

Earlier, similar statements were made by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, US President Joe Biden, the foreign ministries of Japan and South Korea, as well as the authorities of the Netherlands and Montenegro.

In December, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russian troops were deployed on the territory of the country and did not threaten anyone.

The Kremlin emphasized that Russia was not going to attack anyone.
