It is on his Facebook page that Sven-Otto Littorn writes a long post about the report from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.

He saw both the report and the media's reporting of it.

According to him, the two people behind the report are not paid by the UN or the High Commissioner, but are appointed to monitor certain areas on a voluntary basis.

He calls them an eco-activist and a human rights activist.

"None of them know Swedish legislation"

They must neither have visited Sweden nor have sufficient knowledge of Swedish environmental legislation.

"None of them have talked to us or anyone who can give them a different perspective on the issue than the one they got killed by those who are against the mine.

None of them know Swedish legislation, none of them take any responsibility for investments, jobs and development in Jokkmokk ", he writes.

According to Sven-Otto Littorin, the conclusion is:

“These reporters' letters thus have no legal effect on a Swedish administrative matter.

But is rather an illustrative example of how opinion formation and advocacy campaigns can be designed. ”
