Their arrival is near.

While convoys of vehicles are heading for Paris to protest against the vaccine pass or against the government, Emmanuel Macron called on Friday February 11 "for the greatest calm", while saying "hear and respect" the "fatigue" and "the anger" linked to the health crisis.

In an interview with Ouest-France while he was in Brest on Friday, the head of state and quasi-presidential candidate stresses that France "needs harmony, a lot of collective benevolence".

"We are all collectively tired by what we have been going through for two years. This fatigue is expressed in several ways: by disarray in some, depression in others. We see a very strong mental suffering, in our young people and less young. And sometimes, this fatigue also translates into anger. I hear it and respect it, "said Emmanuel Macron, who participated in an ocean summit in Brest.

"But, he adds, I call for the greatest calm."

Convoys inspired by the movement launched in Canada

"The demands of each other are always legitimate. We have also always preserved the right to demonstrate, democratic pluralism, parliamentary debates during this period. But we need harmony, a lot of collective benevolence, "concludes -he.

Leaving in convoys from all over France, thousands of opponents of the vaccine pass or the government approached Paris on Friday evening, despite the ban decreed by the police headquarters.

Asked by Ouest-France about the health situation, Emmanuel Macron underlines that we cannot "say today" that the epidemic "is over, as long as the hospital does not see the number of cases drop sharply, the reprogramming operations resume and critical care less congested".

The lifting of the vaccination pass "will depend on the hospital" when it has "resumed as normal operation as possible".

In the meantime, the ebb of the epidemic "will allow us to meet our deadlines", according to him, with the lifting of the last restrictions for bars and nightclubs" on February 16.
