Ajman Police enhances traffic awareness by launching the campaign "Safety of pedestrians and drivers from run-over accidents"

As part of its continuous efforts to enhance traffic awareness for road users of the importance of adhering to traffic rules, and giving priority to pedestrians crossing from the places designated for them, the Ajman Police General Command, represented by the Traffic and Patrols Department, launched the main campaign “Pedestrians and drivers safety from run-over accidents” in order to preserve their safety and the safety of others, and the campaign continues. over the course of three months.

Lt. Col. Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said that the campaign came to support the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in reducing run-over accidents against road pedestrians and pedestrians, by educating drivers and road users about the importance of following traffic instructions for pedestrian crossing, and paying attention and concentration while driving. Respect for pedestrians crossing lines, and adherence to the prescribed speed limits inside cities, or on external streets so that they can control the vehicle and pay attention to road surprises and avoid run-over accidents.

The campaign also aims to educate pedestrians about the necessity of safe crossing from the places designated for them, and the use of pedestrian lines, crossings and bridges designated for this purpose, to avoid serious run-over accidents and maintain everyone's safety.
