The entire facility is now opening for the first time in almost two years, which means that après-ski and restaurants can also open.

- We open everything and are of course happy for the guests.

But we are also very careful because we want our guests to feel comfortable and safe, says Christophe Risenius at Lapland resorts.

Already seeing a boom

Sales and booking losses have been about 30 percent during the pandemic compared to a normal year.

Now it is hoped that the situation will be as before.

- We are approaching levels that we had in 2019 so it feels pretty good, says Risenius.

Hope for working logistics

According to Christophe Risenius, the most important factor now is that the transports to Björkliden and Kirunafjällen work.

- It is extremely important for us that trains and flights get started.
