A man who has fallen while climbing a steep canyon in India has been dramatically rescued after he is barely trapped in a crevice of a cliff.

The Indian Army's Southern Command said on the 9th local time that it had dramatically rescued R.

Around noon on the 7th, Mr. Babu suddenly slipped off a cliff while hiking with his colleagues.

It was a height that could cost him his life, but fortunately he was saved by getting caught in a narrow space in the middle of a cliff.

However, he was unable to climb the steep cliff again, and it was not easy for his companions to rescue him with sticks and ropes.

After a report from colleagues, the police requested assistance from the military rescue team and started rescue.

The military rescue team first launched a drone to determine the location and situation of Mr. Babu's distress, and attempted rescue several times using the Coast Guard helicopter.

However, the terrain was rough and the downdraft around the canyon was so strong that even the rescue team could be in danger, and rescue by helicopter ultimately failed.

At nightfall, rescue teams first protected Mr. Babu with torches to prevent wild animals from approaching him, but failed to provide water and food necessary for his survival.

Two days after Mr. Babu was isolated, the military rescue team mobilized a unit specialized in climbing.

This 23-man special forces team climbed over six hours to find an access point to Mr. Babu's isolated cliff, and found the best location for rescue.

There was no tree to secure the rescue rope to, so the rescue team had to tie the rope to a rock and hold it by hand, but at 9:30 am on the 9th, the rescue team succeeded in delivering water and food to Mr. Babu, who must have been exhausted.

Rescue teams quickly hoisted Mr. Babu safely over the cliff, and he was immediately taken to the hospital.

Mr. Babu, who lived his life, kissed the rescuers' cheeks, enjoying the joy of survival.

Babu, who is currently hospitalized at a local hospital, is reported to have no major injuries except for a leg wound from slipping as a result of X-rays and CT scans.

This is a 'news pick'.
