"Thank you Jinzhu Mami for saving us from the blizzard..." In the early morning of February 6, the Tibetan people, Tashi and his family, expressed their thanks to the officers and soldiers of the Banda Military Station of the Sichuan-Tibet Military Station.

Late the night before, it was the timely help of the soldiers that brought Tashi's young daughter, who had severe altitude sickness, to safety.

On February 5th, there were blizzards in Qamdo, Tibet and other places.

The Sichuan-Tibet Highway, such as Yela Mountain, was heavily snowed, nearly 100 vehicles were blocked, and more than 300 people were trapped.

At night, the temperature plummeted to minus 20 degrees Celsius, threatening the safety of people's lives and property.

After receiving the information from the local government for help, the Sichuan-Tibet Military Station immediately launched an emergency plan and ordered the Bangda Military Station, which is the closest to the trapped people, to immediately carry out rescue.

Setting up food supply points, preparing cold-proof materials, and arranging accommodation for the masses... The barracks at Bangda Barracks became a shelter for the trapped masses in the snowy night.

That night, knowing that some people were still trapped on the road, the officers and soldiers of the military station searched in the snow three times in a row, and found 17 trapped people successively.

Some of them have been frozen and starved for several hours, and some of them have severe altitude sickness. The officers and soldiers urgently carried out rescue.

Seeing that the vital signs of the trapped people were stable after inhaling oxygen, the stone hanging in the hearts of the officers and soldiers fell to the ground.

The next day just dawned, and the officers and soldiers carefully prepared a loving breakfast for the masses.

After the traffic was restored, the trapped people reluctantly bid farewell to the officers and soldiers and started the journey again.
