Several former SD leaders in Halmstad have joined forces to start their own party. That does not worry the Sweden Democrats' chairman in Halmstad, Lars Larsson. On the other hand, they think that they should leave their assignments in the municipal council.
In total, there are about 20 SD members who have requested resignation.
13 of these have positions of trust within the municipality.
