Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung said today (10th) in relation to People's Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol's so-called 'Investigation of corruption in power' remarks, "I really and sincerely recommend that you go down the path of unity, not retaliation."

Candidate Lee visited the Korea Federation of Trade Unions in Yeouido on the same day, and after a policy signing ceremony, when reporters asked about his opinion on President Moon Jae-in's request for an apology from Yoon for his 'corruption investigation' remarks, Lee said, "I've watched many presidential elections, but the candidate did not receive political retaliation. I've never seen anyone actually profess that," he said.

"We have to move forward to the future for unity," Lee said, pointing out that retaliation or hatred, conflict and division could put our society at risk.

Regarding the report that the securities account of Candidate Yun's wife, Kun-hee Kim, was used for trading even during the period of Deutsche Motors' stock price manipulation, Lee said, "I also saw the news. “It is right to investigate quickly and without exceptions.”

Candidate Lee said, "Discrimination must be reduced" when asked about the promises to focus on among the many promises he announced recently, such as jobs and labor. It's an important task."

When asked if there is any progress with the KCTU following the KCTU, which decided to support him, he replied, "The KCTU has not yet talked to each other."
