A fine example of cowardice, reported on the Twitter account of the Bas-Rhin police.

On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, around 2:30 a.m., a man noticed through the window of his home that two individuals forced the door of his vehicle, in the Hautepierre district of Strasbourg (Bas-Rhin).

The man, who wears a prosthetic leg, decides to meet them using crutches.

The confrontation turns sour and the owner of the car finds himself sprayed with tear gas before being manhandled by one of the two men.

While he sees that a 👹 is forcing his 🚘, a man, moving painfully using crutches is abused & sprayed with lacry gas.

He still manages to call the police.

After recovering his senses, the victim calls the police.

The police quickly arrest the perpetrator.

Alcoholic at the time, the 36-year-old man was taken into custody for theft from the trailer, vehicle damage and violence in meetings.

His accomplice is still at large.
