The cruise ship Hanseatic Spirit is the first cruise ship to arrive at the port in winter.

Vessels like these must have an ice classification, which among other things means a reinforced hull, since the pressure from the ice is greatest at the vessel's waterline, says Anders Dahl, head of the icebreakers in Luleå.

This is what attracts passengers and this ship has also announced that they will return to Luleå in March.
The ship will leave the port at 1 pm tomorrow and will even then be assisted by the icebreaker Frej.
