Morning mists

The rain-snow limit will be around 500 m on the eastern relief, 600 to 800 m on the Massif Central, 1000 m on the Northern Alps and 1200 to 1400 m on the Pyrenees.

On the rest of the southern half of the country, apart from morning fog towards the Rhone delta, the sun will prevail.

In the afternoon, the overcast weather will linger over the Northern Alps, as well as the Pyrenees and their foothills, with still some precipitation, but this will stop in the evening.

The sky will be clear elsewhere, except from the Mercantour to the Côte d'Azur where clouds will develop.

The tramontane and the mistral will rise, in the Rhône valley the gusts will reach 80 km/h in the evening.

On the northern half of France, the day will be calm.

But in the early morning, from the east of Brittany and the Pays de Loire to the Center Val de Loire, Champagne-Ardenne and Lorraine, you will have to expect often compact greyness, sometimes fog.

18 degrees around the Mediterranean

In the afternoon, the weather will be quite sunny everywhere, even if in the North-West the sky will gradually be veiled with thin high clouds.

In terms of temperatures, in the early morning we will wait between -3 and +1 degrees on the northern half up to the Massif Central.

Elsewhere, the lows will range from 1 to 8 degrees.

In the afternoon, the maximum will show 5 to 10 degrees on the northern half and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, 9 to 13 degrees on the South-West, 13 to 18 degrees on the Mediterranean rim.
