A rare video of Kings Faisal and Fahd taking the oath as ministers in the first council in the history of Saudi Arabia

A rare video clip documented the first cabinet in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of ministers taking the oath before King Saud, including Kings Faisal and Fahd.

And the account of King Fahd bin Abdulaziz published this rare clip, which shows a number of ministers taking the oath, including King Faisal, King Fahd, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Mishaal bin Abdulaziz.

The ministers took the oath, which read: “I swear by God Almighty to be loyal to my religion, my king and my country, not to reveal any of the state’s secrets, to preserve its interests and regulations, and to perform my duties with honesty, trust and sincerity.”
