A driver, wanted by the courts, was found due to misbehavior, which immobilized him on rails, in Pont-Saint-Esprit (Gard), report the gendarmes of Gard.

He was imprisoned, in order to serve an old sentence of 17 months in prison, pending a new appearance for this failed turn.

The events took place on February 5.

The man is suspected of driving a car while on the phone.

"Too busy talking," say the gendarmes, he would then have missed a turn and would have found himself immobilized on the rails of the railway line.

Fortunately, no train was running on this axis at that time.

Alerted, the gendarmes arrested this man, accused of having driven with 1.32 g of alcohol per liter of blood, but also without insurance, without technical control and with a suspended driving license.

Not to mention that he was wanted by the courts.
