He noted that the presidents will discuss "three main blocks of issues", primarily bilateral relations.

Peskov said that "investment, trade and economic cooperation is important for the two countries" and "is based on specific, diverse projects that will affect the presidents."

“Of course, the heads of state will exchange views on the state of affairs, on the situation in nearby regions, on regional conflicts,” he said.

The Kremlin called Tokayev's upcoming visit very important, noting that Russia attaches great importance to it.

Peskov also said that Putin and Tokayev would make a press statement following their talks.

Earlier it was reported that the President of Kazakhstan will pay a working visit to Russia on February 10-11.
