“The Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala today chose a preventive measure for the rector of the Dagestan State Technical University in the form of detention for one month,” TASS quoted Zarema Mamaeva, head of the press service of the Supreme Court of Dagestan, as saying.
She noted that the rector is on trial for fraud and forgery.
Earlier, the Moscow City Court did not satisfy the complaint about the arrest of Ilshat Gafurov, the rector of Kazan Federal University, accused of inciting the murder.
