It is noted that in October 2021, Kornienko was interrogated as a witness in the Rakova case.
“After that, she left Moscow for Chisinau.
She was charged in absentia under Part 4 of Art.
159 of the Criminal Code of Russia (large-scale fraud).
She has been put on the federal wanted list," the source said.
On December 22, the Moscow City Court, after considering an appeal, left Marina Rakova, ex-deputy head of the Ministry of Education, under arrest in a fraud case.
Rakova was arrested in early October on charges of large-scale fraud.
It was also reported that the police identified 12 fictitious employees of the RANEPA during the investigation of the Rakova case.
