Seven suspects were arrested on Tuesday in the agglomeration of Dijon (Côte-d'Or), after the attack on three students from the Lycée Hippolyte-Fontaine.

According to information from France 3 Bourgogne Franche-Comté, five of them are aged 15 to 17.

They were all taken into custody.

The seven young people arrested should be referred to the prosecution on Thursday.

According to our colleagues, these events could be linked to the settling of scores between rival neighborhoods, against a backdrop of provocations on social networks.

A rivalry between districts?

On February 1, a 16-year-old teenager had already been attacked with several stab wounds in front of his school in Dijon.

He had succeeded in losing his attackers and winning the school infirmary.

He was prescribed fifteen days of total incapacity for work.

The next day, two other high school students had also received blade blows in public transport.
