Director of the Gamaleya Center Gintsburg called the registration of "Sputnik V" in WHO inevitable

He recalled that all the necessary documents required for the registration of a medical product have already been transferred to the organization.

“We are confident that the registration of our vaccine with WHO is inevitable, because the effectiveness and safety of Sputnik V is a scientific fact, confirmed in more than 20 publications in the world's leading medical journals,” Gunzburg said in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Politika.

Earlier, WHO did not rule out the possibility of requesting additional information from Russia on the Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.
