Colombia .. Landslides kill 11 people and injure 35 others

Bad weather in Colombia caused a landslide in a mountainous region, resulting in human losses.

According to Reuters, the Colombian disaster agency announced that at least 11 people were killed in a landslide.

The agency pointed out that 35 others were injured after a landslide buried several houses in the center of the country today.

The agency stated that the accident occurred near the city of Pereira, as a result of heavy rains in a province famous for growing coffee.

The accident caused the evacuation of dozens of nearby homes after the Otun River overflowed.

It is noteworthy that Colombia is witnessing landslides due to heavy rains on its mountainous lands, which causes human casualties due to the random houses that are built in those areas prone to collapse.
