Justin Trudeau seems to have finally taken

the measure of the blockage that has settled in Ottawa

.

Especially since in Ontario demonstrators are now threatening the Ambassador Bridge, a vital trade route with the United States.

The Prime Minister spoke on Tuesday February 8 in the House of Commons to defend his anti-Covid measures.

"

Everyone is tired of the lockdowns, the measures we have to take, the sacrifices we have to make, but for two years Canadians have continued to act, to be there for each other, to get vaccinated

, he said.

This is how we will get out of it and get back to what we love.

We will continue to protect people's lives.

 »

Candice Bergen, interim leader of the Conservative Party, is not convinced, she is going in the direction of the demonstrators towards a return to a "

normal

 " life:

Countries like Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Israel, Czech Republic, UK, Spain, Denmark are removing restrictions and obligations and these are countries that have lower vaccination rates than Canada,

she denounced

.

But here in Canada we have a Prime Minister who refuses to lead and who instead divides.

 »

If the federal government does not move, some provinces have just announced that they are giving up

the vaccine pass

.

And Quebec gives for the first time a calendar for future reductions.
