Two children, aged 4 and a half, managed to escape from their school, through a door which is usually locked, Monday afternoon, in Montpellier (Hérault), before being found safe and sound, shortly time later, learned

from the rectorate this Wednesday, confirming the information from

Midi Libre.

They were found on the platform F St. Roch station, some 300 meters from their school.

This is the Rail Security who noticed the two children, left to themselves.

A dysfunction "

“The team [of the school] quickly noticed the opening of this door, indicates the Direction of the departmental services of National Education (DSDEN) of Hérault.

She made a call and noted the absence of two children.

The municipal police were immediately alerted and the students were found safe and sound within minutes.

The families "were immediately notified", continues the DSDEN.

Everything is currently being done to try to determine the circumstances of "this dysfunction", we learn from the National Education.

An extraordinary school council will be held, and supervision of recess will be reinforced.

A reminder of the safety rules was also made, in class, with the students.

For its part, the city of Montpellier will also try to shed light on this runaway.
